OrionStang
So here in SoCal the main shit is DBdrag and Bassrace. My question is in concern to the entry fees. How much do the shop owners/show sponsors get? How much to the judges? SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread
JeremyN
its my understanding that the shops have to pay the judge to put on the show and from that point I dont know 2 12" Jeff Vue Customs 1 set MB Quart FSB 216 in doors1 American Bass 100.1 on sub1 Hertz EP2 on doorsJVC deck IPOD controlStock 105 amp alt DD-1big 3new build in Chevy caviler http://www.stevemead...chevy-cavalier/last set up in the ZX2 http://www.stevemead...-current-build/old build log http://www.stevemead...-1998-ford-zx2/ Gold is the money of kings, silver is the money of gentlemen, debt is the money of slaves. Just my .02c that shop needs keep those doors open so they have to charge for it if people think 10k is a lot then they should get into other hobbies.. like masturbating, cause any hobby cost money to maintain Lol no, I'm smarter than that bro haha. Team Bassick - Kimo
It is not top secret but, I won't disclose the exact dollar amounts either. Just like any other dealer price list you would get from a manufacture. Each competition organization has a sanctioning fee based on their point system (i.e. 1x, 2x or 3x events). Each promoter will then put together a package deal for the hosting shop/show/location based on sanction fees and awards. Entry fees are then based off of that. For teambassick.com events I have a standard fee system per class: 1X $25 Non-Members $20 Members 2X $50 Non-Members $40 Members 3X $75 Non-Members $60 Members Other promoters do higher Priced first class and lower priced additional classes. I may be wrong but, I believe that majority of the promoters keep all entry fees. I know I do most of the time but, there are occasions we work something out with the show host.
