jeffrm
Im running 6 kinetik hc16v's, a mechman 340 externally regulated, on two ampere 3800s. When wired at 2 ohms per amp my voltage would go from mid to high 18s to mid 17s, that is with both amps dd1 set with the -15db track and gain matched with the cc1. Now im at .5 per amp and with the amps set with the -5db track ill drop to the 13s and 14s really quick. Even has gone into the 12s. Could I be having battery problems or something else? 03 tahoe z71 4 death penalty 18s 2 ampere audio 3800s @ .5 each 18v 156.7 @ 35hz 158.5 @ 50hz

jeffrm
I try to charge the batts at least once a week. Sometimes it goes a few weeks without a good charge though. I knew id see a drop but didn't think it was gonna be that much. 03 tahoe z71 4 death penalty 18s 2 ampere audio 3800s @ .5 each 18v 156.7 @ 35hz 158.5 @ 50hz

_paralyzed_
I just googled for 10 minutes and couldn't find a 16 volt load tester anywhere in stock, but that's what you need to test your batteries.
jeffrm
Bank is decently easy to access. Only problem is that there are no places to load test them locally as far as being 16v. 03 tahoe z71 4 death penalty 18s 2 ampere audio 3800s @ .5 each 18v 156.7 @ 35hz 158.5 @ 50hz

Miguels
dude you are drawing more amperage than what the alt can supply.. how much was you expecting it to drop?.. you can replace the batteries with other brand and you will have the same issue. your problem is you wired too low my logshttp://www.stevemead...-my-new-set-up/my blow through loghttp://www.stevemead...future-updates/ 96 ss http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/164094-96-impala-ss-build/
