What organization is that for ? In any event, the 4 ohm rating will be ~450-500 watts for the SAZ-2000D. I don't have a good ETA for it yet. It was delayed a bit to strengthen inventory on existing models. banginAltima
500 watts is the 4 ohm rating I need for the local shows that I compete in. I am in the 0-500 watt class and I need some thing stronger then my Rockford T10001bd. I was wanting to get a Sundown 1500 or a IA20.1 but I think i will hold out for the Sundown 2000. I don't have a good ETA for it yet. It was delayed a bit to strengthen inventory on existing models. Our local organization is called Competition Only. www.competitiononly.com. They are relatively new and still pretty small but its all we have unless we travel hundreds of miles. They still use the old 4ohm rating classes. banginAltima is currently cleaning up in the Trunk Stock 0-500 class w/ his all RF setup but is looking to make the switch to Sundown for more power. It would be nice to have an amp capable of around 3kwatts @ 0.5ohm in that class.
sundownz
The 2000D is a priority for sure but I had a huge surge in demand for SAZ-1500Ds (big thanks to my MECA guys) so I am bringing in several hundred for stock (all with the new style heatsink too), that set me back a bit on introducing the 2000D. No worries, though, the 2000D will be released as soon as possible.
