Guest
check out this vid on youtube for this problem I already have copper wire wrapped around my RCAs outputs and grounded it from my prvious amp...its still there now, and it does not seem to be helping... Did you used a multimeter on the ground points yet for the amp? No. For continuity? nope on impedence on the multimeter negative test lead to the negative post on the battery then a long jumper test lead from the positive on the multimeter to the grounding point where the amp is grounding at for this test Ok, I'll check the grounds for impedence...since I have rear batt, should I also front battery neg to rear battery neg? what are the numbers when you check it? about to go test them...should I disconnect the grounding wire and test it underneath or can I just test from on top of the lug? And i'll let you know.
Guest
Tested front battery to ground, I wasn't ohms...I had only sanded it away before...so now that I have a dremel, I used that and ground the surface down, the resistance is now 0 ohms. The noise was actually gone when I started my car up this morning...not sure why or if its permanent...noise is still gone after fixed batt ground
