CZ702 Headunit Issues (static)

Recommended Posts

per the static issue:

did you unplug the RCA from your amp while the headunit was on while you were testing with the dd-1?

per the clipping at 30 issue:

Also, where are you checking your headunit from, the amp or right of the RCA cable?

Yes, all RCA's were unplugged from the amp when testing with the DD1 and I was checking the HU right from the RCA. I tested it on the RCA that went into the front right that was usually plugged into the amp.

If I did my wire leads like this to my HU my radio and everything else will be static as well the +/- are to close to each other

Ive had all of my other radio install done the same way. Soldered and heat shrunk and never had an issue. Like Orion said it is shielded so thats not the issue or I would have noticed it on my previous radio.

not sure if serious or not...

that is exactly how I do any headunit I install, solder with heat shrink. never had an issue, since you know, it's a correct way to do it any all.
