can you destroy an amp from using the wrong bass knob?

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know I'f the bassknob for the sax 125.2 will work for an saz 3500v2? What would happen if you use the wrong cable or even bassknob for the amp. Because I have a brand new sax 125.2 bassknob and wire the (plain black one.... without the writing on it) I could put to use.

I would check with sundown to see if it's compatible. If it's not it could damage your amp.

4 Soundqubed Supertweets

Just buy a pac-lc1 it will work with any amp and is better than a factory bass knob.

That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.

Double check with sundown. I know a bass knob from one company won't work with another company.

I'll admit, half way through sanding that fiberglass in the rain and cold while I was all itchy I was definitely starting to question why i was doing this haha

Then you got lucky, Not all will. Give it a test, at low volume. I had used a AQ knob on a MB quart, the instant it plugged in my sub went full tilt. So please, don't suggest this.

lol factory bass knob

look where you plug the knob in to see if the pins match the wire you have

if they match youre good to go!

Not necessariliy, I tried AQ to MB Quart, same everything. Once I plugged it in it went full tilt with no knob control.

Trying to make fun of people and giving bad advice, seems about right for you.

On a side note, I wish Sundown used the same bass knob for every amp, I have two different knobs for my 1000D and 100.4 and it looks like a completely different brand since they're mounted next to each other in my console
