goldeneye4564 Posted May 30, 2015 Author Report Share Posted May 30, 2015 sorry for the late reply, just busy with shit. a friend of mine loaned me one of his amps for slam. ... now it is on two 750.1s. but here is some things..the whole wall is 3 inches thick. this made it extremely difficult to squeeze the 18s on that baffle. originally i wanted a slot port.. but when i started planning how to cut the sub holes out that plan changed really quickly. it is one layer of 2x4s then two layers of birch 3/4" my last wall suffered from flex and was more like a box shoe-horned into a car... after lots of tips and advise... we bolted to the b and c pillars.. this is with one layer inside. it really started going together fast after that first layer was in there lol. and if you look at the b pillar you can see the 1st 2x4 is bolted. they are all bolted like that all the way down. i know i have some gaps and shit, but thats why people invented fiberglass. the bottom crack now also has fibreglass there as well. just didnt take another pic. almost ruined my phone trying to take these pics that resin is fucking sticky. when that first sheet of baffle went in there, i was getting all giggity. and joe the car has 62 inches across from inside door to door. the wall itself was originally measured out to be 36 cubes. after setting the baffle in, came out to around 25 after port. next build will be in a suv or van...
