Alternator Whine issue *figured out* UPDATE pg.11

No they are different. The ones that are ran are stinger twisted pair and the ones I will be running are SHCA coax.

That could be the issue then. It would explain why in one scenario it was gone and then as soon as you set it back up with a different set of RCA's it was back.

Maybe, I'm tearing it apart tomorrow to see exactly what is going on here. I'm tired of listening to the noise. Driving in the city isn't bad bc I have the windows down and I can't hear it. However driving in the highway sucks

I got everything pulled out of the car to track down what the issue is.

Hooked up the amp last night and the noise got worse. I'll post pics of the wiring up later today. I'm going to try a few more things but last night I hooked an aux cord and had no output from the amp.

Don't remember and I'm on mobile right now, but did you try a different amp to see if the whine was there?

I did but it was a monoblock amp. I didnt hear any noise come out but I wasnt sure if it was the filter filtering out the noise.
