Best "small" speakers i can hook up to Laptop

Recommended Posts

No idea what my options are...preferably less than $50, if possible no external power source needed. Id like to just plug into the laptop and call it a day. Im open to a set that plugs in to a wall too.

Why don't you get a portable Bluetooth speaker?

I have this for my phone and laptop http://www.jamaudio.com/speakers/jam-classic-wireless-bluetooth-speaker

Comes with a 6" (maybe less) USB > Micro USB charger. You can keep it charged while you're listening. Most laptops these days have built-in Bluetooth which is great for this speaker. Otherwise, you'd have to get a short 1/8" audio cable to plug into your headphone jack.

Just a cheap great sounding option. Not sure how loud you want it to get, but I really enjoy this speaker for music while I'm cooking/following recipes. Don't think it'd be loud enough for a party or the like.
