Okay, so what I have going on is in my first car I have 2 JL W6's, running off of a American Bass VFL 80.1 ... 4 American Bass 6.5s running off of a American Bass 1980 watt amp... In my first car everything worked right. Loud and Clear. Bought a new car this week switched over my subs and vfl amp. Bass worked fine. Today I added my 1980 watt amp and just 2 door speakers for now. Doors are screaming, bass hits at about 20 on my JVC head unit. When i turn it up past 30 it loses power and the subs look like they flex way to hard with no sound quality behind it. Any suggestions? I have 0 Gauge from battery 1 to audio battery 2 thats location in the trunk. from there I split 4 gauge power and grounds to the amps.. Before in Car 1 i only had one set of 4 gauge running to battery 2 and 4 gauge splitting off. shattered my windshield. Im lost right now, havent had much time to diagnose my problem just trying to take suggestions... anything would be great.
