Question of the day: What was the first subwoofer that you heard that made you fall in love with BASS?

A buddy of mine put 2 12" kickers and 2 15" xplodes in the back of his cloth top Suzuki Samuri when we were like 15. Best time ever lol.

I bought a 10" mtx blue thunder legend from a friend of mine. It came in a bandpass box. I pushed that thing with a little kicker amp. Bug hit and I feel in love

First system i ever heard was in my cousins Saab 9-5 around 00'. Thinking back it was 2 cheap of the cheap 12" in a prefab. Since then i am hooked on bass

Soundstream spl 160 15 in . I wish I still had it . I ran it off a Sony amp in the trunk ,and two 10 in soundstream granites run off a Rubicon amp sitting across the back seat of my ltd .

It was either '94 or '95 in HS a friend had some JL Audio gear in his LeBaron.

Didn't get my own system for another 6-7 years after that but that sound of those JL's triggered something for sure.

The very first was in a buddies dads homemade home sub, a pair of Dayton 15's. My first real taste in a vehicle was when a truck pulled up behind me and my mom in her old olds 98 and he was vibrating her mirrors and pretty much blowing us up, later I went to my friends house and saw the same truck in the driveway, met the guy (his dad's friend) and just had to see what made that sexy noise, 3 JL W6 12's on a Kicker zr1000 with the subwoofer module.
