bighossf150
idk why you go through belts so quickMy thoughts, exactly guess were doing it wrong...... EDIT- ive never LOST a belt, but, when your 700 miles away from home..... one way..... well, shit. If it shows wear, squeaks, ... well shit. And some of us make a bit more amperage, run hot under hood. Then again, maybe im doing it all wrong....I also made my own dual bracket. It isnt "perfect". So, i just take some extra precautions...... just me I always keep an extra belt and tools to change it in the tool box of my truck just in case but never had to Quote Used to have a loud truck 2009 Corvette Z06, H/C/I, 150 shot, g force tune, 730rwhp/690rwtq 2013 F-150 limited, MPT Tune, leveled on 35"s

ChevyBoy95
My truck is a daily, beat on it constantly before the rebuild, i have the same belt on there since i added dual alts, shows no signs of wear... that was 8kish miles and almost a year and a half. edit: I do keep the stock one in the truck incase, so i can just loop it on 1 alt if something happens. It's one of those as needed things. For me I NEED to change it at every oil change. andru
I have been using a goodyear gator back that is 2 sizes smaller than oem with my 320a mechman, it has been going for 2 years so far with no problems but i guess it all depends how much wrap you have on the pulley
Dan2427
Do u have a dual alt kit snow drifter? thats insane going through a belt that quick. My belt is 138.5" and is 55 bucks I'd be mad as hell having to change it every oil change $110 oil change goes to $170+ even tho I change my oil every 5-6k still get pretty ridiculous lol.
