I could not be happier with the performance I have been getting out of these things in the limited time i've been able to run them. Life has been taking its anger out at me and things haven't been perfect but I did find the time to get these in. I'd like to apologize as well for taking such a long time to do so though as it was not my intention. I just didn't have what I needed at the time to make it happen. As many of you know I had a pair of Iraggi 300 amp alternators before. Once I went to the TFEs I could no longer keep up with my power demand and I saw some dangerous low voltage numbers before I made the call to Mechman. I actually parked the truck because I was afraid of what might happen. I also had one with a squeaking pulley that drove me nuts so they had to go. Here are my new billets the first day they arrived. complete with bench test tags. yeah I can live with that. One of these produced more at idle than my iraggis did. Then it was time to get to work. Out with the old and in with the new there are some things I need to clean up under hood but right now I just can't devote that time to it. Oh the best part. Yeah forgot about that. Boom. I hold this all day long. May see a slight dip in voltage when its really hot out but nothing like I had been seeing. I would actually see low 13s at idle on the Iraggis. So low that I was wondering if I had lost both alternators and I was on battery power. All in all I could not be happier with my purchase. My truck? Probably not so much.
