318 V8 pulley conversion

Recommended Posts

Hey guys

I got a new project to start on, just trying to source some much needed parts before the BIG build starts. I have a 1977 Dodge Van, b200 model with a 318 V8 with V belt pulleys on it. I would like to convert all the pulleys to 6 or 8 groove belt. Is this something you guys can do or would I need to source this from a company like march pulleys? Thanks in advance.

Also what am I looking at money wise ? Most likely will run around 4 alts off this motor, I will fab a bracket myself for the alts, would like to run the 370 elite alts.

Depending on how much the motor has changed just get them from a scrap yard off a late 90s Dakota. Has the 318 v8 magnum if the mounts and stuff are the same. Never had to do it but that's my thoughts

what I was going to suggest. 318ci Dakota or Durango or dodge pickup, maybe one of the 90s vans aswell if they have them
