There's mainly only negatives to using osb rather than any other type as ply, mdf, particle. We'll se how it turns out, luckily I dont have any large unsupported areas. So far the positive thing I found, it won't split easily while screwing into it. It splinters a lot though. Takes a lot of effort to get smooth.. Seems reasonably stiff and strong, I got a box out of it at least.
