feathered1iron
Would I be better off adding this as a second battery in addition to my stock factory battery or replacing my factory battery with this d3400? Also, what is the benefit of getting the billet mounting tray? To better secure the battery? Do I need side post adapters ? Any other post or fittings? Thanks! ToNasty
Do 2 300s under the hood. And for the factory spot You'd need xs 551 side post adapters Quote ***Super Sellers List***http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/25829-super-sellers-buyers
drupru22
If one battery is the only thing in your budget then I'd run the D3400 off the system by itself and let the stock battery run the regular electrical for your vehicle. Don't tie them together though with them being different makes and models. You would only do this if you had 2 batteries that were exactly the same. Plus they would have to both be tied together to charge off the alt. feathered1iron
So im thinking of just adding the 3400 in addition to stock battery according to the post so far. Do the batteries come with the necessary gauge wire or is that purchased sepratey? chris@xspower
If purchasing a D3400 they come with m6 bolts for various ring terminals. if you are replacing the factory battery, I would suggest the 551 side post adapters for gm vehicles. If you are adding a D3400 as a secondary, the required accessories or wire would be dependent on how you mount and run the battery cables which are sold separate.
