You haven't been able to find another brand of alternator manufacturer to ask in that entire year? considering a year ago your car was brand new, they possibly didn't have your car in the system yet, maybe they do now. If Mechman can't do it it is likely nobody can. These guys all have the same problems....some cars are more of a pain in the ass than others. Some are easy. Fitment is one thing but electronically they don't always work right either due to these cars being controlled by multiple computers now days. I say give Mechman a call back. If they still can't do it, there are a few other brands that i know of that are easy to find on google. They will probably tell you the same thing though.
