I've had the Falkens before on Falken 18" Explicit rims and they were good dry traction but not the greatest on wet and wore out really fast imo

You guys saying the pirellis why do you say that? Just looking for some reviews on them from people I trust. They are leading currently so I'll dig deeper into them.

Check out the Discount/America's Tire Ebay store. You'd be surprised how low they can go. Plus, they always have deals like $100 off a set.

x2. Discount tire is pretty awesome. I voted for the Nitto's, love me some nittos. The 420s is a reaaalllly good all season tire, don't have any direct experience with the 421s though. Seen them on quite a few Audi and VW Tiquan's though. And they never have had any problems in the winters down here, which are normally sloppy wet and icey.

I like to call them do it yourself tire because I needed a tire changed once and they told me it was a 6 hour wait to change it because all the bays had cars in them, they told me this after I had payed for the new tire.

so I jacked up the car in the parking lot took the wheel off, carried it in and made them mount the tire then i rolled it out slapped it back on the car and bounced, all in less than 20 minutes.

Fuck that 6 hour wait bullshit.

Hell when I got the wheels and tires for my Jimmy I ordered them in advance and set an appointment to get them put on and they still had me there waiting over 4 hours.

That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.

Only reason I'm hesitant ordering from them is farm and fleet where I'd be getting them from I drive by everyday and they do lifetime roadhazard warranty and free balance and rotate on them for the life of the tire. Discount tire is way out of my way and 25-30 minutes away. The eBay page price is about the same as I've found online already but remember I'm getting one tire free. So if I can beat that deal that's perfect. If not I'll just go there.
