This is basically the poll of my previous thread. I found a few other tires but im not sure if the shop can order them in. I just wanted one last poll since the last thread was kind of a disaster.

I only want personal or close to personal experience, not looking for other tire suggestions unless you specifically link to a tire with size 225/55r19 as i have gone thru as many website and brands as i could think of and found the tires that fit my car. i do not want winter tires at this time. give me as much info about these tires as you can if you have used them or possibly sell them.

What i was looking for in a tire

-Quiet at low and high speeds

-Stable in corners on dry, wet, and snowy / icy roads

-nice ride

-good traction in rain and snow/ice as i live in north western illinois where roads arent plowed worth a damn

-good braking performance in all types of weather

-provides good fuel economy

-decent tread life, 30k mi or more

im leaning more towards the assymetrical as they seem to fit more of these things im wanting but i will consider any that i have posted. please leave me positive or negative reviews on any of the mentioned tires and driving info, speed, mileage, habits, type of weather, etc.

Tires are one of those things that can be a bit subjective and answers can vary wildly on how well a persons experience with a product has been.

You really need to take peoples answers with a grain of salt and use your best judgement and gut feeling for what you think will best suit your needs.

My two top brands are General and Michelin.

The tire diameter is a more important number than the ratio at which you are using from the manufacturer. There are common tire sizes and uncommon tire sizes, now i do not know if the tire ratio your car has is a common tire or something that is uncommon, but the price for an uncommon tire will be drastically higher than a common tires price will be, so do not lock yourself into thinking you need a specific tire size when you do not. Find the closest sized tire from the older thread from some of the brands that people gave advice on.

Basically I'm back to where I started. My friend that works at the tire desk said they can't get toyo or nitto. And the others are harder to get so I'm going either pirelli, Goodyear, or continental as they stock or can easily get them in stock. And I don't have to have all those its just some stuff I'm looking for. As for the different size I'm not gonna dick with it at all. It's already a pain to find tires so I don't want to mess anything up I'll just keep it oem size. Are the falkens any good or the yokohamas? I'm just looking for reviews. You said go pirelli or Goodyear. What makes you say that though?
