2006 SuperCrew F150/ 2016 Polaris RZR XP1000 custom door pods play pg6!

Recommended Posts

Not shit is going on with the truck, I just drive it back and forth to work. Putting the rzr in here aswell, to keep from clogging RPP and what not. Page 6 is where I started.

Had this truck nearly a year now. Most everyone has seen pics of it already. For those of you that have not... 06 F150 SuperCrew FX4, 5.4 3v and leather interior with that bitch ass center console shifter. Factory 20's, billet 2 inch leveling kit, Nitto TerraGrappler 305/50/20's, a powdercoated toolbox.

Gear list...

Electrical

SuperStart Platinum Group 65 AGM, XS Power XP2000, 40ft SkyHigh 2/0 covering Big 3 and front to rear battery and power into cab. 25ft Execution Audio 1/0, 20ft SkyHigh 8ga, 100ft SkyHigh 12ga speaker wire, a handful of SkyHigh ANL fuse holders, 3 300a fuses, 1 200a, and 1 100a, lugs from skyhigh aswell.

Audio

Clarion CZ702, SkyHigh RCA's, Taramps TS-400X4 mini 4 channel, Sundown SAZ-2000D, Sundown SA-6.5CS mids, NVX VSPTW 1 inch tweeters, Tantric Sounds HD12, some leftover fatmat ewww.

Substage is not in the truck as of 10/29/15, idk when that will happen. Guess when I get a job and can pay for a sheet of MDF. Popped the sundown tweeters about 6 hours into having the front stage active, since I was running them passive on a Zapco Z300S2VX but it is getting traded. Amp rack is something I am pretty proud of though...

I'll explain this mess a little bit. XP2000 is in the toolbox, 2 runs of SkyHigh 2/0 come into the cab, a hot and ground. Ground is below. From the 300a 2/0, I took a pair of 1/0s off of it, 1 going to a 200a fuse holder, and 1 going to a 100a fuse holder. the 200a is obviously for sub amp, the 100a is for mids and highs and goes to a pair of SkyHigh 8ga.

Currently unemployed and living off my savings account, so nothing better to do tomorrow, so I'll go outside and grab some pictures of the updated amp rack with the Taramps mini 4 channel that is in it.

Take out that rear seat and wall it.

I would if I didn't like to haul people around lol. If I could find a set of bucket seats for the rear, it'd be a blowthrough forsure.

LOL, great start

not a JECAR build, but it's enough to keep me happy :)

Clean build, keep the pics coming. I didn't take many of mine and I regret it.

thank ya sir. I normally don't like taking pictures while I work. Wasn't even going to put up a build log for this, just got bored.

looks great dude. :hi:

thank ya, it's coming along. little daily build.

Things I never want to do again: put sundown mids in the front doors of an F150. Had to hack the shit out of the door panels to make them fit...but atleast they are covered up. Was going to get a set of doors made, but got screwed by the molex connector. Ohwell.

Heart of the operation, the wonderful and cheap Clarion CZ702. One of the coolest things about the truck is all the factory carbon fiber patterned trim pieces. Have a pretty slick idea for the sub enclosure with carbon fiber aswell...

Planning to throw a SMD VM-1 up here along with some particular switches for future accessories like some LED pods in the rear bumper and light bars in the front grill. Truck spends a fair amount of time offroad both in the day and at night.

Anyways, amp rack. Storage rack right now aswell..safety first! First aid kid and a fire extinguisher since I'm running Brazillian.

Big shoutout to Xplicit Audio, they sell "competitor packs" of fuses, 5 for like $8. Awesome deals. Got me a bunch of spare fuses for not a lot of money.

Oh, and this is going to be cleaned up once I get the funds alotted :)

  • 2 weeks later...

Looking for ideas and input on a motion/angle based switch to control some LED lights mounted in my tool box and bed. Just some LED strips, standard white color nothing fancy.

Basically all I want it to do, is turn on when I open the lid to the tool box, and turn off when I close it. Added bonus would be a controller along with a switch that has a 15-30 second delay that would allow the bed LED's to remain lit.

Thank ye sir. Only thing I would be concerned with them is stuff getting thrown around in the tool box whilst driving. Guess it doesn't really matter since the truck would be running though.
