fordpride
Amp is a RF r500.1 with a birth of 635 Subs RF r2d2-12 x2 250 rms each I have a DD-1 and my thinking is if I used the dd-1 it'll have my amp around 550-600 but I only want 400 going to my subs so is using a dmm my best option to set my amp ? MrSkippyJ
Not really worth the trouble to try and set it to only 400 watts. Why do you want to do that? fordpride
Cause the subs can't handle the amp set with the dd-1. My box is sealed and a half cube bigger than recommend
mcfalcon
Could you shrink the box a bit? Still learning but have started gathering.
fordpride
I don't really want to. The box is built for p2's but budget got cut short with twins on the way. A friend that owns a local shop have me the r2's out of his display wall. So just trying to make it work without destroying them although that would be fun. zoeboi954
i'm pretty sure your subs could handle 50-135 watts more even in a sealed box... i had my 4 12s in a sealed box with 500 rms over.......... also is there a way you can lower the sub output on your headunit?? 4 Fi Q 12s In A Prius on 4 Crescendo BC2000D?! MrSkippyJ
you have a 500 watt amp and 2 250 watt RMS subs. this shouldn't be a problem.
