Son needs a gaming rig (desktop), any suggestions?

Recommended Posts

Oh this should be good. If there is one thing everyone knows everything about its gaming computers. Lmao

That's why I never made a thread when I built mine lol.

I vote build one since you can get the most out of your money. Newegg has some killer deals and combo prices, and like Cortez said, they have some nice pre-picked parts packages.

If your spending 600 and up if you just want a laptop or desktop prolly won't beat their combo prices or refurb combos under 600$. I tried you can get a lot of computer but you will always go over budget and get a little more than you needed. (When building your own)

Some of the refirbs and combos prices are unreal.... That and computer got way better too since I built mine.... Shit mine is slower than my buddies 350$ comp he just bought even tho mine is i7 his is i5. He has more ram similar memory and the big winner is the new ssd much faster than a spinning drive, makes the Windows run so much better.

They came out with ssd's right when I finished my computer. Damn. Would have been sick to bad all I use it for now is the Cnc machine; no games

Got a link to that $350 unit? I'd like to spend as little as possible.
