meade916
My friend Jeff, recently stopped by with a little hidden gem he had in his garage collecting dust. I am a sucker for anything Soundstream from the early 90's, particularly while they were still made in Folsom, CA (local). The "Granite" series was Soundstreams "budget" amps. If you couldn't afford the Pro stuff (like the SS series speakers or Reference amps), you could still get the name and damn good quality still by going with the Granite line. I call this Granite 60.2 "Classic-ish" because it isn't quite the older stuff that i prefer, but it is still at least 20 years old. So it's sorta classic still Anyhow, check out the amp guts below - 60.2? Ill test it on my SMD AD-1 soon! I think it still works. (didn't fire it up yet, been busy). 1 Quote All SMD products + MORE available at my store here! https://wccaraudio.com/ Subscribe to My Youtube Channel! Over 1,000,000 subscribers strong! Wheelz-In-Motion
Hey Steve, sorry for bringing this old threat back to life after 4+ years, but I'm curious to see if you had a chance to Dyno this Granite 60.2, as you intended doing back then... Thanks!!!
