Let play spot the issue

It kinda looks like a p3, which I wouldn't think would blow off of 500-550 rms. The holes are pretty symmetrical so it kinda looks like a defect in the mold.

edit: didn't see his last post.

What sub is it?

Did you buy it from an authorized dealer?

Too me it looks like abuse .

It's was far from abuse or dropped which is what the seller is saying.

The company had authorized dealer on there site but come to find out in the last couple of days they are not a authorized dealer. I'm pretty sure RF with tell me tuff shit and I can't blame them if they do but it's worth a try and I know it's a cheap sub but it's not about having buy a new. It's about companies standing behind what they sell.

If I see this right it looks like the basket cracked.

Could be shipping damage. Shipping companies aren't nice to anything.

If you got it from an authorized dealer then take it to them. If not then there you go. That's why they won't help you.

Possible that you dropped it?

Hit a bad pot hole and the box bounce around?

Dive crazy with a box that isn't secured?l

So many different things that could do this. And like most companies they don't warranty physical damage which is what this is.

Sorry for your issue and I know you've remedied it already, but that's a lot of rust on that crack for only 1 month of use.

My bet it was cracked when you received it.

Damaged/reboxed B-stock that slipped through or never noticed because they never opened it (like 99% of product that is sold).

Worst case would be scheduled-to-destroy that someone got real shady with and decided to sell.

Static drops are my bag.
