jk13
I'm on gmfs to. But he's always been good to .me Before he was EMF and before Sundown had component sets some dude asked what people recommend for components. He said Sundown NeoPro6.5s... I asked if he really thought that was the best choice not having a tweeter, calling it a 'midbass'. His reply was that they were 'full range' speakers. I even took it to pm as nicely as I could but it became clear he's more into trying to line his own pockets than giving proper advice. And I see it over and over from him and people eat it up. I have no tolerance for stuff like that. Static drops are my bag.
hdorre
Sean can be a complete dick. Straight up. No it all, asshole. Add more neo to a coil that cant do more......... and most of you fall for it....... same with many brands......... I agree completely. Kinda like adding more coil to a motor that can't do more. kandiman71874
For the people asking what the affiliation between Sean and Jacob is, go watch vids from both on subs doing the free air tests and watch the surroundings of the vids. Draw your own conclusions off my advice. Jacob is a stand up guy but when one of his own guys leaves team sundown and decides to go his own way with a team and what he sells all because of Sean and his attitude and constant BS, that's saying something about the guy. And the person that left is about as chill as you can get... liljestrand
So what your saying is you would buy an EMF sub before buying a B2 sub... You do realize that there is more to a company than just the product. Good luck getting a recone from EMF, because once he has your money he's done with you. With how up in the air b2 is right now, it would be a poor decision to spend your money with them until the dust settles.Ive talked with Jay a bit, but really who is right and who is wrong I have no idea. Besides Sundown would still be my number 1 pick. True dat. In ported boxes, most subs these days are running out of thermal power handling capacity long before excursion becomes the limiting factor. At least as long as you aren't trying to play WAY below tuning, which you don't want to do anyway.Meh, a woofer that has rigorous cooling channels and not the same pole chamfers they've used for the last 5 years will tend to cool better and have less of an issue with thermal power. B2 up in the air? Seems to be doing fine to m. Yes they had a setback with the shady shit pulled by the buildhouse but jay is still chugging along and working on new products. Team B2 2008 scion xb bagged on 18's plastidipped matte black 4 18" b2 xc's pushed by 4 b2 m1s at .5 each 8 b2 hn6's and 2 b2 hntt's powered by 2 b2 quattros. 157.7 sealed so far. What's up with B2, I'm out of the loop. I was thinking about picking up some of their subs. Should I wait or ??
