ShadeTreeMechanic
I like the part where it's says professional peak limiter circuitry which guarantees distortion free music at all levels. They Could not possibly make up a bigger lie than that. Yeah i wondered about that too. Maybe a dyno test could show if the input signal gets reduced at a certian level of output? 91 C350 Centurion conversion ( Four Door One Ton Bronco) 250A Alternator (Second Alternator Coming Soon) G65 AGM Up Front / Two G31 AGM in Back Pioneer 80PRS CT Sounds AT125.2 / CT Sounds 6.5 Strato Pro component Front Stage CT Sounds AT125.2 / Lanzar Pro 8" coax w/compression horn tweeter Rear Fill FSD 5000D 1/2 ohm (SoundQubed 7k Coming Soon) Two HDS315 Four Qubes Each 34hz (Two HDC3.118 and New Box Coming Soon)
Bayuk89
Hey shade tree on ur amp birth sheet what was the RMS rated number on it ?
ShadeTreeMechanic
The video of the amp dyno he tested at half ohm, dont remeber the numbers but just search rockville amp on this forum and u will find his post and videos of it on the dyno. There are better and worse amps out there, alot of memebers gave me advise on better quality amps when i upgrade this year. For what i need now, this amp does well. Did u say u strapped them ? How well was that set up ? Im also running 2ga royal excelence welding cable. It works just fine for what this amp could pull. Edit : spelling No i havent strapped them yet. I was just running the single M-4 at .5 ohm. 91 C350 Centurion conversion ( Four Door One Ton Bronco) 250A Alternator (Second Alternator Coming Soon) G65 AGM Up Front / Two G31 AGM in Back Pioneer 80PRS CT Sounds AT125.2 / CT Sounds 6.5 Strato Pro component Front Stage CT Sounds AT125.2 / Lanzar Pro 8" coax w/compression horn tweeter Rear Fill FSD 5000D 1/2 ohm (SoundQubed 7k Coming Soon) Two HDS315 Four Qubes Each 34hz (Two HDC3.118 and New Box Coming Soon)

Big D did the dyno at 40 hz so even if they rated the amp at 1500 watts rms it still did it close at 40 hz.. i think certified (until distorion) it did 1283 watts and uncertified (until clipping) it did like 1534 watts @ 40hz on the dyno video
Bayuk89
My birth sheet said it did 1503 watts at 1ohm what did ur sheet say ? Trying to see if they just mass produce birth sheets with the same number (most likey)
ShadeTreeMechanic
One is 1505 The other is 1503 91 C350 Centurion conversion ( Four Door One Ton Bronco) 250A Alternator (Second Alternator Coming Soon) G65 AGM Up Front / Two G31 AGM in Back Pioneer 80PRS CT Sounds AT125.2 / CT Sounds 6.5 Strato Pro component Front Stage CT Sounds AT125.2 / Lanzar Pro 8" coax w/compression horn tweeter Rear Fill FSD 5000D 1/2 ohm (SoundQubed 7k Coming Soon) Two HDS315 Four Qubes Each 34hz (Two HDC3.118 and New Box Coming Soon)

I think .8% is when it becomes audible. They are both at 1% so i am not sure what the difference is. 1% is 1% right? 91 C350 Centurion conversion ( Four Door One Ton Bronco) 250A Alternator (Second Alternator Coming Soon) G65 AGM Up Front / Two G31 AGM in Back Pioneer 80PRS CT Sounds AT125.2 / CT Sounds 6.5 Strato Pro component Front Stage CT Sounds AT125.2 / Lanzar Pro 8" coax w/compression horn tweeter Rear Fill FSD 5000D 1/2 ohm (SoundQubed 7k Coming Soon) Two HDS315 Four Qubes Each 34hz (Two HDC3.118 and New Box Coming Soon)
Bayuk89
Truthfully i thought distorion and clipping were the same just different way of saying it..
Broke_Audio_Addict
They are not the same. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.
