I'd wager a lot of the harvesting is coming from below the un-defeatable high pass. Seems like a nifty way salvage energy that would be otherwise wasted in a traditional passive high pass.

The weird specs on RF's site I'm sure are just due to them copying and pasting that spec template. There obviously aren't rca connectors and a 50 amp fuse certainly isn't required.

Caps man. Same tech as the T15k just with a twist on the power source.

thats all i could tell, way over my head. The basic premise i get, to put it into a working model is another. Seeing how they did it is pretty cool. Cant wait for all the geniuses to come in and say "all it is, is a X thing with Y part and Z circuit" like they could have built one any time but just couldnt be bothered with it.

The keyboard warriors are hilarious over on the book of faces. This is an awesome piece of technology, I have a buddy with a single cab pickup that these could do wonders for. I'll have to show him.

are these capped as far as input power? like would an aftermarket headunit cause overheating or will the excess power passthrough? My bad if that's a newbish question

I could see lots of people wanting to use these not everyone wants to run all new wires and a mile worth power and ground cable to power a system.

Plenty of people would however slap one of these in each door and throw in some aftermarket speakers with none of the hassle of running all the stuff needed for a traditional style system.

I'm assuming they will have vehicle specific adapters at some point as well since the chose to use a molex connector instead of just wires with no connector attached.

I have a couple friends that I know I could sell on these that would never do a full install.

Price really doesn't matter here, like it has been Adidas you go into any Rockford dealer (specially one you shop asst often) and you can pay a decent amount less then that price. Rockford is slowly leaning towards a price protection program to protect it's local dealers in which they grew from.

This amp is awesome by the way. So small and easy tohide away.
