To this day, with all the weight, I still get 17-18 in town and damn near 20 on the highway and I'm geared 3.73. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you. CleanSierra Posted January 31, 2016 Report Share Posted January 31, 2016 driving responsibly gets you near rated not an increase of 75% fuel economy.. you do know they are rated at 12mpg city driving right? even at idle you will not get a 75% fuel savings and one more thing.. odometers do lie.. get a gps top it off, drive it for a few miles and top it off again.. only that way will you get the correct mpg 6 cyl, 4.3 L, Automatic 4-spd, Regular 14 City 16 Combined 19 Highway 8 cyl, 5.7 L, Automatic 4-spd, Regular Gasoline View MPG Estimates Shared By Vehicle Owners 12 City 13 Combined 16 Highway Best mileage I ever got in my Dad's 4.3 full-size was like 15 MPG.
