RooTxBeeR
I have a question. Do you plan on getting multiple graphics cards down the line? But here are my opinions on those products. Motherboard: A decent mobo, I would suggest something else if you aren't getting multiple graphics cards. You could save yourself 30-40 by getting one that only can do a single gpu. Graphics card: I would HIGHLY suggest not getting that card. It cost $130 and has a X performance. If you spent another 40-60 and got a GTX 950-970, the performance I believe is almost double what you would have been getting from the 750Ti. I was looking at getting that card as well until a good friend of mine showed me the difference in performance they both had, and that extra $50 I spent is much butter. Power Supply: I would suggest only a few companies, Seasonic, EVGA, cooler master, and there is another one I can't think of. You don't need all that power that can supply, so if you can find one with less power that still meet what you need for cheaper, you will save some money. But do not cheap out on the PSU, that is what feeds everything it's power, and if it goes faulty, can take the whole pc with it. Memory: Didn't link it lol CPU: Looks like a good one and is newer so it has some good tech on it too. MACnonsence6
ya i see that i forgot the memory i fixed it now, i may go back and mod the list with a different motherboard perhaps something smaller will allow me to get the case i want to ok so this set up is a little bit more but tell me what you think case- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811146086 motherboard - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128887 video card - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814487159 power supply- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139028 ram- then down the road ill get another set for a total of 32g cpu- kinda going back and forth between this - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819113346 or my original choice -http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819113284 the 9370 isnt that much more and has a little higher base clock then the turbo of the 8350 just not sure if that power supply could handle everything with the 9370 so the total with the 9370 is 713 so a little over the orginal budget but should be better machine. i plan to run beefy air cooler for the time being then down the road to a water cooling set up but what do you guys think of the parts ive compiled so far I picked up an MTX Sw1212 powered subwoofer today. RainStryke
I'm a little late to this thread... Not sure if you've made the purchase yet or not. I wouldn't recommend going with AMD until they release their new Zen line-up. The FX8000/9000 series is a very old architecture compared to what Intel offers, the chipset is even older... You get a lot more for your money going with an Intel set-up. I would recommend this build Motherboard: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130779 Processor: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819117446 Video Card: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814487093 Power Supply: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151118 Biggest part of going with a new PC right now is loading your operating system on a solid state hard drive. I would recommend something like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA2W02CZ2241 so you would recommend the i3 over the i5 for a gaming rig? I was under the impression that the i3 falls on its face with gaming.... Im trying to pick parts out for a mid budget gaming rig for my brother and was trying to stay clear of the i3's but if its a working combo I would redo his list.... all the i7 chips look out of his price range also.... he already bought a MB so I have to work with what he has... 1150 socket

I noticed very little difference between the two when I was gaming compared to my i7 4790K. FPS was nearly identical.
Jessica
i'll give you the advice everyone else will, if you spend an extra $50 to $100 on a better video card, and an extra $20 to $40 on more ram and an extra $30-$60 on a better motherboard, and an extra $40 on a powersupply and an extra $60 on a HDD you will have spent way more money than you have but you will be happier cause you will have the PC i wish i could build. Rest in peace, walled 87 accord build log 03' Corolla build with AA Mayhem inside. My super random youtube channel and terrible camera work.
