boom50cal Posted March 19, 2016 Report Share Posted March 19, 2016 if it's on a newer vehicle with ABS, a lot of the time you can get them to enact a "self bleed" if you will, by performing a rapid stop on a loose surface that will cause the ABS to engage. Most service shops have an IDS scan tool that will cause the ABS to cycle... but if it's on the foxbody in your sig, take it back. It could have been that the pads just needed broke in which is rare or the pads they installed were made out of different materials than your old ones giving you a different feel in the brake pedal. For the most part anytime you replace the rear pads or shoes on a vehicle it will help the pedal immediately, I call them big toe brakes and that is the way I like them.
