Snap-On 14.4v MicroLithium Impact and other stuff

Recommended Posts

The Snap-On guy stopped by the other day and of course i picked up some goodies. I actually just bought the impact because i need a 2nd one for building some of my products at the shop. I just use the other one (DeWalt) ready to go for it's "phase" and this one to do more heavy lifting. No bit changes saves me a little bit of time. Plus i like the way the trigger rocks back and forth for forward/reverse rather than hitting another switch to do so. For what i use it for, that also saves me time. It's REALLY nice! I also bought that LED light too. I really needed one just like it to replace my old one i destroyed :D

thanks to Big Mike from the goodie truck for the extra swag too.

Nice! Some of the best money I ever spent was my chordless impacts. Can never have too many.

Miss my old Snappy dealer in my old city. That guy rocked. Even let me borrow his show trailer to move 200 miles away because it was the only way I was getting my 2500lb box up here.

New guy is a tool.

Static drops are my bag.

I gotta ask what you did to break that snap on light?

Those things are damn near indestructible, my friend used to use his as a hammer and it got ran over by a few cars and had nothing more than some scratches.

That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.

my other one was a Bluepoint.....and i smashed it against my CNC machine 2 months ago when i broke 2 $50 bits in under 2 minutes. I have had some good times and some frustrating times with the CNC and i had never lost it until then. It was in my hand, it was hour 15 for the day and in a fit of rage i beat the daylights out of my old light and then threw it across the shop.

I am pretty good in my older years about holding my temper in times like that...but i literally lost my mind for a good 15 seconds that evening. LOL. I regretted it right away too, i was like "damn, i just destroyed a $100 light"....and i loved that thing too

I like those drivers, but you check out Monster Lights if you have a Cornwell or Mac truck in the area.
