Hers has turned out very well indeed for a quick install performed by someone who is a survivor of a major stroke 11 months ago... Check out her low budget sleeper... 1gggman1 Posted February 27, 2017 Report Share Posted February 27, 2017 I am doubling the power by slaving two CAB 1600.1's into a single .67 ohm load, my old subs would launch the cones at 3200+ wmrs... that is if the coils lasted long enough! I'd love to hear the difference between my old Mazda with 15's of yesteryear with shadowcaster's 2000 Blazer, I built mine in 1997 and he's hitting about the same with much smaller subs and less power. Phenomenal is all I can say... this shows what is attainable nowadays and his installation knowledge is thorough. What a daily driver... I love this result, It's flexin' and subbin' hard... I love your 2000 Blazer... my wife's is torn apart waiting on parts... We'll see if her 1997 Blazer turns out like I think it will, modern audio tech is alien to me... back in the day it was enough to know your ohms and amps... I suspect that nowadays it is the same.... Hopefully someone graces my expenditures... It's all comin' in the mail... I can't wait! I'm hopeful that it all turns out as well as yours!
