So after cutting the holes, i wanted the edges to be black instead of flat molded in brown color

20160519_101159_zps7itgwjr0.jpg

I had to cut up the single din SMD meter bezel to make mounts for the gauges.

20160519_111016_zps6xqx8kgm.jpg

This is what the look like mounted in place

20160519_111030_zpsktvxjaek.jpg

I used the 2 part epoxy to secure them

20160519_111340_zpstfksxbpr.jpg

I dont have enough screws for both my meters so i had to sand down some i found with some tiny hinges i got from the hardware store

20160519_115504_zpsmkv1lo5j.jpg

And installed, Not Perfect but im not a c&c machine lol.

while i was uploading the last pics, the JVC cam in. So its installed and i think, right out of the box with flat EQ it sounds better than the pioneer did.

Thje menu navigation sucks, but im probably doing something wrong. Cant back up on step in menus, have to start over for each setting. So im sure im doing something wrong. Gonna have to play around a bit.

Anywho. Pics

Yep. as stated before, I have the same unit, and i cannot figure out how to back out of menu navigation without starting completely over from the home screen. sq is amazing for a lower priced unit. I enjoy it very much and am just now tuning it. Out of the box it was excellent.
