Anybody care to give some insight on this board. I've been considering it real hard for my 2 12" sa subs because they are dual 2 ohm. Either that or go with crescendo, sundown, or twisted sounds and run them half ohm.

Where are all the power chips

OH and I just read where you say it's at 1 ohm doing around 2500 watts. How do you know? Did you clamp it? Or was it tested on a synonym?

I clamped it using a 1 ohm resistor and my mini oscilloscope. It did 65 Volts and I got 38.5 amps. Battery voltage dropping down to 13.9. It only recommends a 150 amp fuse but that is at 2 ohms. I popped it during the test and replaced it with a 250 amp fuse, since it is at 1 ohm. I have been using it daily for 3 days and it hasn't gotten hot at all so far.

So you have an o scope? Did you set your gains with the o scope before you clamped it?

This amp.would solve a lot of issues for me. I've got the cx-1200.1 which is the older model but same series. I also have the cxa-300.4 on my minds and highs. It works great for what I have.

The subs just seem underpowered. I've seen my amp dyno'd at right at 1200 watts. So I know these amps can do rated. I also saw it do over 1500 at 1 ohm.
