WillistonAudioLabs
Possibly the oldest amplifier ever tested on the Amp Dyno, here I try the 33yr old 1983 HiFonics Odin! Call me crazy, but back in 1983, most people who used amplifiers in their cars had EQ/Boosters in their dash. You were the mack daddy if you had an external amplifier back then! Let's see if this bad boy can survive the brutal Amp Dyno Tests! It's a stereo amp, not bridgeable and only stable down to 4 ohms. Rated to deliver: 35w/ch at 8 ohms 65w/ch at 4 ohms Check it out on YouTube in 1080P HD or embedded below: See my videos on YouTube http://www.willistonaudio.com Many tests and demos of OLD and NEW SCHOOL car audio gear! Thanks bro. I couldn't afford them either, but I had a friend who could. I had fun going to the stereo shops with him just to see what he would buy next. It took me almost a year to save up enough to buy my first system (started when I was 14, lol). Made you appreciate it though....as with all things you work hard for See my videos on YouTube http://www.willistonaudio.com Many tests and demos of OLD and NEW SCHOOL car audio gear! Hooah87
I still get a kick out of my dad (born in 1965) every time I show him my new car audio stuff he says, "that's crazy son, back in my day, if you had 100 watts you were king of the block" . Love these old school amps though. Good stuff
