B Slaps Posted July 10, 2016 Author Report Share Posted July 10, 2016 i cleaned the floor inside and under carriage with degreaser, cone wire wheel and acetone prior to spraying it with bedliner to make the sheet metal more dense and to reduce rattle considering the car is missing the cocktail shakers in the rear. the motor is a pontiac 350 h.o with #16 455 sd round port heads. long tube headers. power steering, power brakes and power top. the only body parts not new is the cowl panel and both doors. B Slaps Posted July 10, 2016 Author Report Share Posted July 10, 2016 so after 3 weeks at sand blast and my new bushings not fitting on the stock a arms i had blasted and coated..... i said F*ck it and bought these along with new shocks , spindles, brake kit, steering arms. basically its all new. no sense in trying to save a few $$$$. you get what you pay for ssbc dual piston calipers i got from a buddy i work with. red caliper paint cant not have drilled slotted rotors I Rock 4 Doors 4 More Whores! I got my motor and trans pulled to find out they werent rebuilt like the guy i bought it from said. Im alreafy this far so no turning back now. Heads and crank are at the machine shop getting a refresh. Going to hone the cylinders , put a bigger cam and get new seals on the heads. The 1973 #16 heads are threaded studs with big valves. These came on the 455sd and have a 114 cc flow with round exhaust ports. Should breathe well and push somewhere in the 350 + hp range I Rock 4 Doors 4 More Whores!
