You can get a cheap stripped lower for $50 and now you have the "rifle" no matter what happens with politics. There are guys that literally have safes full of lowers (40+) just to have in case they are banned. Unless the ban forbids sales, which is likely to be what happens if there ever is another ban, then your lowers are worth dick. You would still have them for your use though. I have my stockpile just for that reason.
