The amp is about 13 months old, and has worked flawless up to a couple weeks ago when the ground wire failed. I replaced both the positive and negative power wires to the amp and cleaned the charred negative amp terminal up. The amp worked for about a week until it just didnt work. He said it was getting really hot since this happened, the amp never got hot prior or ever kicked protect. Im assuming the ground wire issue weakened the amp some how. It was powering 3 Fi Q 15s with dual 1ohm coils wired in series/parallel for a final load of .66 ohms.The vehicles install consisted of 2 runs of Knukonceptz Kolossus 1/0 OFC front to back, an additional run of 1/0 ground, along with chassis ground in the rear, and the big 3.We ran short on Knukonceptz wire, so the amp was wired with Sky High that he bought from the local shop... There was 2 new D3100s below the amp, and a D3400 under the hood (well above the front tire because its a Dodge), and the stock 160 amp hairpin alt. Voltage drop was minimal (somewhere around 1.2 volts full tilt). Repairs to the amp will cost roughly $150-200. Looks like maybe 3 mosfets, 3 gate resistors, and the 1 torrid are bad upon visual inspection. Asking $625 SHIPPED OBO, the amp retails for $1,199 new. No reasonable offer will be turned down.I accept PayPal. No trades unless you have a SCV-7500D or a XS Power XS30K Lithium since that's where the cash from this amp is going.
