bsneon98
Damn Steve always coming up with new ways to amaze us. Would be perfect for my sub box! Oh and where can we find that SMD heatshrink? Or it that exclusive still? DrewJones
Not going to be of use in my big build. But I can think of more than one use for these. 1. Removable boxes. (Obviously) 2. Jumper Cable setup in the rear of vehicles with large battery banks/walls. 3. Battery Charger quick connect. 4. .... idk damn, I'm no genius. Soccerballzs
Love the idea, very clean and sweet. Is there any resistance build up between connections? meade916
What about making a special piece for a power block. For a quick disconnect? And a single block on the wire side, so you could do some extra jumping outside the box. And don't have to fumble 2 blocks.. And finger grab spots.. Pretty slick though I like it already in the works. Quote All SMD products + MORE available at my store here! https://wccaraudio.com/ Subscribe to My Youtube Channel! Oh and where can we find that SMD heatshrink? Or it that exclusive still? thanks!!! it's not that the heat-shrink is exclusive or anything....we just haven't really offered it because we had it made for our new RCA's and a few other items. It wasn't really meant to be for sale But if you are interested that is something we can easily do. thanks again! 1 Quote All SMD products + MORE available at my store here! https://wccaraudio.com/ Subscribe to My Youtube Channel! Beanz
Hmm on a side note I can't wait for that psyph Morrison album. BUT this is legit man. I was just gonna drill holes in my new box because I didn't want the hassle of having to unscrew the nuts to take out the speaker termianls. But this is awesome man. How much force do you need to pull off the magnets.would say if u have something in the trunk can it pull it off? Quote That's why they don't deliver. Yer ass better go sit along the side of the road and wait. You can't expect them to travel up some dirt road in a hick / back woods town. Thats how horror movies start I explain things very simply and use analogies in terms of Pickles, and grape drink, pool noodles and jackhammers...if you can't put 2 and 2 together there man, There simply is not much more I can do. tboorn
thats pretty awesome. although when it comes to larger amounts of power i would be a little skeptical because neo magnets are made of ceramic, and coated in nickel. and only the nickel coating is conductive, not the magnet itself. but being such a small connection id think it wouldnt be too bad with small power, since the electrons dont have to travel very far, now stack 50 magnets together and do the same thing and resistance would definitely play a part. i also think about the heat created by having a current pass though the magnet, and the build up over time potentially affecting the magnetization, and the resistance the heat increase causes. i also just read that when you pass a current through a magnet, the flow of electrons in one direction, affects the poles on the magnets since they flow in both directions, and can negatively affect the magnetic bond. something to think about, seems like an awesone idea though. 1 Quote Fidelity Built to Last Team Sound Asleep 24Runner Build Log: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/196657-24runner-sleeper-system-lots-of-fi-neo-dd-focal-new-video-w-juicebox-lithium/ 2 x 12" Fi BTL N2 / 2 x 12" Fi BTL N3 2 DD M3b Maxwell 2.7V 3000F Supercapacitors Pioneer DEH-80prs Focal P165 V30 components Rockford Fosgate T-400.
