Yea, sounds like subs should have gone before the amps with that much power. Was there really any benefit of 4 8k's over 2 8k's in the daily/demo aspect?

Best of luck though, that is a nasty trunk for sure.

I wouldn't make it a habit of changing songs at full output. I would turn it down first.

Wow. Disregard my previous comment. Not trying to be rude.

I'm gonna take a wild guess and say vibration killed the amps, not electrical.

ding ding ding... the amps were shaken to absolute death. the only thing holding the end pieces were the screws for the power wire and the rcas on the other. My electrical was actually great for the little amount that i have.

I started rebuilding last night. We were finding out more issues about the car as well. My helix processor was connected wrong so when the car turned off the entire processor reset to default settings. Well all of my amps were gained matched through the processor so when it reset none of my amps were set correctly. So the car could even get a bit louder which honestly scares the living shit out of me.

There were about 4 to 5 people who actually seen the score at slam before the one amp caught on fire. Crazy to see what she does when its actually full power.

Thanks guys for watching. I will keep pushing the limits of what trunk cars can do. Back on the grind.

:ninja:
