NeverSettle4Midz
Im having a box built for my 2003 2 door Blazer to fit in the trunk. its gonna be 7^3 box tuned to 28Hz with a Sundown Zv5 18" powered by a SCV-2000D wired at 1 ohm. Ive always had my boxes built with the sub facing up and the port facing back and never thought twice about it but now this being my first costly build i wanna do it right the first time as i only work part time between school and i plan on having having a box pro build a high qualtiy box for me. ive heard rumors that having the sub facing up is bad for it over time especially for a daily driver...is that true? Also was looking around and people say theres a big difference between the two styles of setups. What do you guys think? I was leaning towards Sub up port back just because i think it looks better imo. what do you guys think?
Haro Christian
On one of my post, I was told that subs up port back gives you a much better sound than subs back port back... I built my box but think I screwed up on the port because it does not give out much air. It was my 1st build attempt for 6-15" L7's
