Got a better hair trick video, hope you enjoy: https://youtu.be/cx4mGXpc-hI

Started work on adding a 5th port tonight so I can get test results then switch it to a parallel tuned 6th to do a direct comparison:

Should have test results with the added port area tomorrow.

After I get the results of the parallel tuned 6th I'll be building an experimental bandpass I've been designing, it should be interesting if it works out, I'm pretty excited!

Definitely something different! And very good results, too!

But why the different length ports on the first setup?

Laziness actually lol. Already had the port pieces cut and shaved from previous setups so I ended up only having to cut like one piece. It ended up working out to my advantage though because the average length ended up tuning to 30hz instead of mid 30s had I run all short ports lol

Very interesting stuff man! Keep us updated with what you find out!

So I scrapped the parallel test in favor of tuning the rear chamber higher to see if I could get a higher number:

It failed, lost quite a few dB, guessing it was due to cancellation inside the box.

Now for the question, who wants to see a redesign for the mofo 12s or should I build something for the sundown x15s I have laying around?

Try the x15's in my opinion. Will be interesting to see what will you squeeze out of them.
