2 dc level 4 15s louder than......

Recommended Posts

Not doing a brand war..or convo...but..

i got two sa12s on a CAB1600 in hand built box.... i got another cab1600.1 and 2 15in level 4 from dc laying in my closet, never been used...

But...I'd have to get a new alternator or hella batteries... right now I'm stock alt with a 30ah xs power..

So before I spend money on all the new power upgrades and building new box to fit in my tiny 2011 hyundai accent hatchback. How much louder you think it'd be? Like twice? Or just alot lower and deeper? It'd be 3200w vs 1600w right now plus extra cone space....

Does dc 15s sounds as good as the 12" sa's quality wise?

I kbow there is little fact and alot that go go on so general opinions is what I'm looking for.... both are ported btw... port face ing back subs up...

BOSS Audio FTW!

If you can spend the money and want to get louder the 15s will be a big difference from the SA's

Couple years back I went from two SA 12s on 1500 to two X 15s on 1500 (same amp). Sorta kinda similar upgrade and it was WAYYY louder.

The 2 15" subs should be louder than the 2 12"s. IF...they're all in their correct enclosures.

If your budget is tight, build a box for the DC and let them play on one amp.

When money comes, you'll work on batteries, alternator (you're lucky, Singer can make one for that car), and second amp (or bigger one).

black BMW X1 2.0 l 192 hp

OEM head unit, Amplifiers Audison AP 8.9 amp with integrated DSP and Ampere Audio 1200.

Focal ES 100 K in front doors, and Dayton RS 180 for midbass under the front seats.

2 SSA DEMONS 10" subs, in a 2.6 ft3  ported box. SecondSkin Damplifier on front doors, and Luxury Liner Pro for the cargo area.
