Are you set on running the SoundQuebed 7000? If not I would check out the new CT Sounds Team 7000.1 that is on pre order. To run it or another amp similar I would suggest you add 4 more XP 3000 to your rear battery bank.

with a 275 alt I'd say 3-4 group 31's

from what I understand the SQ 7k is the old version of the DD m5 basically. I plan to run 2 370's and 6-8 group 31's on 2 m5's.

Coleman, why does ur new 7k only have dual power and ground inputs when your older model 7k (all white with blue light up CT sounds logo) had tripple inputs ?

DD m5 ( m5 used as example ) only has dual inputs. if your runs are short, dual inputs are fine. If you want more, run dual inputs for the amps dual inputs.

This isn't correct, the M5 is limited on voltage as the SQ 7k is rated up to 18 volts and will stay on up to 18.6 Volts.

OP you will need 4 group 31s and 270 sized alt. That would be the min requirement to run this amp.

Do you really need to ask why he isn't using that board anymore?

FWIW the old Team Cactus, Atomic 7K and even XXV Sampson only ran 2 sets of inputs. Brazilian 7Ks have usually run only 1. I wouldn't get so hung up on that.

Also DO NOT skimp out on batteries, if you plan to ride around a beat down the block add more than you think you'll need. I can assure you, a couple more batteries is going to be less money and hassle than 2 way shipping and the repair bill for a 7K amp.

It was an obvious change on this board, i was just asking..
