Reinforcing Interior(cabin), doors, windshield, etc

Looking for ideas or examples of different methods people have used (with or without success) to cut down on body flex and/or increase spl.

Been searching and haven't found much aside from the standard things like sound deadener. I think this is due to most examples being buried in build threads and whatnot. I was thinking we could maybe post examples we've seen in here as a sort of collection of things tried, ideas, results, etc.

Main reason I've been looking is I know I'm going to need to do something with my hardbody pickup and I want to decide what I'm going to do before going balls out on the widely used methods or trying other ideas. It'll be a lot easier to weld in reinforcements off the bat vs trying to do it after day bedlining everything or applying deadener.

I've got access to do just about anything and the truck is a dedicated audio project so while I'm not going to go extreme like concrete in the doors or something, I'm open to most other modifications.

I'll post a few things I have seen, things I've stumbled on, or thought of.

One of the ideas i had to keep the doors from ripping apart is removing the inner door skin and welding angle iron to the insides then closing them back up. Curious if anyone has done this.

Another is welding the roof, example is Rusty's dc audio astro, I'll grab a picture later tonight but I'm guessing most have seen it:

Another is the Saturn with the fiberglass ed roof on here:

There's a thread just posted in this section regarding floors too:

What do you all have to add?

BUMP.

The spot welds on the pinch seam (the top windshield lip) on my car is starting to tear.  I quoted a 1/2" polycarbonate windshield from racingshields<dot>com, but I'm more concerned about the metal tearing apart.

Something simple I did on my daily was to glue some steel busbars, kerfed to the shape of my roof. It's nothing extreme, but it doesn't require welding and is thin enough so you can put your stock headliner in (most of the cases).

For the doors using destaco 317u clamps to hold the doors down

Hey man, do you have a pic of those destacos in place? Ive seen them at my work (industrial) but curious how you applied them to your door
