Project Flexington: 160.3db @ 37hz!! Parallel 6th order walk through, DC Neo Elite 18s, 4 DC 5.0ks, JY Lithium, 12 banks of XS Caps

Recommended Posts

Im looking forward to hear about your experience with the Term Pro software.  With the same inputs, Term Pro had me tuned at 33Hz, it ends up being 26-29Hz in reality (26 by impedance dip, 29 by cone excursion).  WinISD predicted 29Hz.  Also, WinISD fucking NAILED my entire impedance curve.

EDIT: That lithium will treat you well.  I bought some from a seller on ebay (I saw you watching him too, LOL).  I tested ESR to be 2.9-3.3mA, which is fucking awesome.  Also, my resting system voltage raised up to 13.3V from 12.9V with a single 73Ah lithium bank against 400Ah of AGM.  Phenomenal.  Once I sell the bimmer, I'm buying 2 more banks from JY.

Thanks for the info. I haven't had time to play with it much yet, but I took a break yesterday and installed it and played around with it for a couple min.  I'm honestly a bit disappointed already.  Seems like it's a very limited version of winisd with a buggy cad modeling plugin and a cultist generator.   I have a feeling I'm going to regret wasting 150 on it. Was hoping for that kinda money that it would offer a but more than just tossing a bunch of features available for free elsewhere, into one interface. But I'm still going to give it a chance.

Yeah, I'm pretty excited to get the extra 5 inches behind my wall back. It'll help immensely with squeezing 8 more banks of caps and 2 more amps in there lol. Plus removing the weight will mak a huge difference. Lol that's funny u saw me watching that, great minds think a like, right? lol

Little update, got the front section welded in just in time

New windshield time. Guy did a fantastic job, I just hope it holds together Saturday and the adhesive doesn't let go

Gonna give it a little bit to cure before I get back to welding,  but hopefully I can get the rest of the bracing slammed in without wrecking the window.

Just about done with the bracing. Almost time to get to work on the stripper pole mounting.  Gotta have the truck ready for tomorrow morning and I'm running outta steam, hope I can finish. It's been a long ass week

Figure I'll start catching up the thread.

Some more pictures of the stripper pole install.  Here's the mount on the roof coming together:

Thanks man, was good to meet you in person!

Stripper pole done.  Got some more work to do to reinforce things more, but in it's current state it's an absolute beast.   The tube is 1.5" 1/4" wall dom tubing.

My steering wheel and tach are feeling the pressure now. With the gauge cluster screwed in on Saturday, the tach gave up the ghost. Luckily it started working again sunday and stayed working since I unscrewed the cluster. The steering wheel is making a weird clunking noise but it's solid, not sure what's going on but it's rather alarming lol.

I bet the clunk noise is just a 'weight" that is glued in the steering wheel fell off. Take the air bag out and it will be laying in there. Toss it no need for it really. Mine did that with no bass lol

Thats cool. Im way too old to be upset by shit like that. Your name is winston. Your own parents hated you even before you were born.

My penis is bigger than your penis

I'm far from loud and my roof/headliner flaps around like Adam's ass on a windy day. I think it depends more on the structure of the vehicle.
