B pillar reinforcements nearly welded I  for this round. Got a few more pieces to buzz in, a lot of grinding to do to shape the pinch weld to clear the door, and then just weld in the electromagnet mount!

Finally getting the hang of welding, it's much easier when you're not welding over head lol

Just gotta tie in the rear portion and mount the electromagnet!

Headed to Lowrider show this weekend. Hit 139.9db with my ported 10 last time out. Mostly a show car, but hits pretty good for a looker.........This Directed amp is over 15 years old and still bangin it out. Probably only have about 8-10 hours of music on it. I only play it at shows when people want to hear it. My next build will be more practical and used daily. I have a lot of money in this, and not much enjoyment out of it. Love the questions at shows, but need the next set up to be more suited to my daily driver needs. Love this site....just joined and enjoy reading the posts...

Nice ride but you accidentally added it to someone else's build log. You could start one of your own. Everyone would love to see.

Sitting around waiting to be installed:

Thanks man, I'm pretty proud of how much I've improved. Still have a lot to learn but finally not embarrassed to show it off lol.

Yeah, I think it's cool that XS shares people's builds no matter the size...they even shared one if my pictures back when I only had 3 banks :)

On another note, got the mounting for the capacitor banks and lithium figured out too and I think I'm going to go for broke and attempt to build the new amp rack for all 4 5ks this round.  One of these days I'll finally get around to making some big tweaks to the box...there are definitely big gains to be had yet...not sure if I've mentioned it before, but the initial design of the small chamber was to test a theory, and completely forgot how far off it was because I've been so busy with chasing issues with flex and broken shit lol.  After running the numbers I realized it is probably acting more like a ported wall than a 6th order due to a few factors.  So once it's playing again I'll be testing to get current numbers then making the box changes. I'm fairly certain I should gain quite a bit of bandwidth and should move even more air!

Finally made an extension cord to run my welder off of the 220v dryer outlet lol.  Now i can burn 1/4" together with ease!

Got the standoffs welded onto the b pillar

Bracket is cooling down then I can finally weld it on and mount the electromagnetic door lock!

Also cut out some pieces to reinforce the trans tunnel a bit more. Eventually I'll add more to the mount for the stripper pole.

More to come!
