It's burned in! Just gotta grind down the welds a bit so the door clears and she's good to go!

Should be tossing the maglock on in a bit and testing it out, I'm excited!

I'm digging the welding in the upper corners near the windshield.  Thats a weak point on my car and I'll probably have to beef it up sometime in the future.

It's actually surprisingly quiet!  The actual magnets are cast in poly urethane (aside from the actual surface) so it seems to absorb a bit of the noise

Thanks man!  Only thing I'm worried about is flex from the factory hinges where they mount to the body.  This could potentially create an off-axis force on the magnet which could potentially pry it open.  Although I will be addressing the hinges in the very near future with these bad boys!

thanks man!  I've got some more work to do up there but I'll probably wait until next time I tear into it...I've got to get to work on the rest of the changes so the truck is done for the 3x ISPLL show I'm co-hosting Sept. 3rd lol.

Oh and here's another test, a little more rigorous this time...still have the striker out, only the maglock is holding the door shut
