Had a blast at Dbs for Diabetes on Saturday. Gave a ton of demos but was fighting voltage and heat issues. Voltage issues were due to running the fans between demos which drained the batteries, which made the voltage drop since the batteries were pulling enough amperage that the alternator couldn't keep up at full tilt, so had to rev higher, which headed it up quicker, etc.  I really need to upgrade my fans asap, probably going to order some tonight.

My friend Will is 7' 2" and has a Facebook group called "Will fits, and sometimes doesnt". I was rather skeptical of him fitting in my truck but I'm happy to say, WILL FITS!!

Also picked up my new caps and projectdb hardware and buds bars from my buddy Geoff (projectdb) while I was there!

Can't wait to get all 12 banks connected!

Also got my new anniversary decals for my subs but only had time to put one on the blank sub.  The other will get replaced when I have time (I wrecked it slightly while removing the sub last week).

I bet the clunk noise is just a 'weight" that is glued in the steering wheel fell off. Take the air bag out and it will be laying in there. Toss it no need for it really. Mine did that with no bass lol

Haha, that could definitely be it, I'll have to tear into it. Thanks for the suggestion.

As I said previously, the truck Hair tricks like a beast now with the stripper pole and new windshield. Also floats tshirts fairly well. Here's a sample:

While we were at dbs, my buddies and I caught wind of a meet in Chicago Sunday. We were all super tired but agreed that we should toss project flexington on a trailer and head to the show in the morning. It almost didn't happen because we all almost went back to sleep, but my buddy Tom had already hit the road, so Alex headed over to my place and loaded the truck up when Tom got there.

Was a great time. As we were about to depart, Tom informed us that one of us was going to wire up a head unit and swap it in his truck because he wasn't about to make the drive with the stock one.  I decided to go live on FB after Alex had finished wiring it (no tools, just his teeth and some electrical tape lmao). Hilarity ensued, enjoy (nsfw language): https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=10154643906221791&id=613146790

While we were there we ran into big vell (YouTube bigvell02) who happened to make my favorite demo video of project flexington while at slamology!  So there should be a new demo video from him soon!

Got a delivery yesterday from JY Power!  My new 80ah lithium:

Forza approved...unfortunately he decided he liked it too much to let go and claimed it as his own so I wasn't able to install it yet lol:

Hopefully going to get some more work done on it tonight, stay tuned.

Very nice numbers! I'm not sure what it does now. My best was a 157.6 at 37hz driver window open at the dash. That was on the Orion 11k with a broken windshield and no bracing. When I burped after box bracing, the windshield completely let go 3 clicks from full tilt at 156.4.  I will be doing some testing later this week once the adhesive on the new windshield is completely cured and hopefully I'll have some port modifications done that I've been planning. Might be next week if I get ambitious enough to hook up my new lithium and caps but I will definitely do some sealed tests for you.

Cool,thanks!.....p.s get ready to fall in love with the caps and lithium combo.....I've had my JB lithium for alittle over 2 years and it beat my 3 G31 batts in the back by itself hands down...then added caps to the mix earlier this year and whole different beast was born! Tried every combo of caps, batts and lithium to just caps to just lithium etc and caps +lithium is where it's at!

Might have gotten a little carried away tonight

Ready for lithium...definitely got room for the caps now! On a side note, check out the bad ass DC logo CNC'd by 920CNC!

Might just have a little something in store thanks to a brilliant idea I got from John Nolte, since the door latch doesn't seem to be doing is job! Details will come as the installation progresses.

The buss bars are huge! Room for up to 19 banks of caps!

Little update.

Got my new fans. Can't wait to get these bad boys hooked up...if these don't keep the sbc cool I'm going to give up hahaha.  Spal is the best of the best and the 12" fan is monsterous. Had to go with a low profile model for the 10".  C.f.m. ratings aren't awe inspiring unless you take into account that these are rated completely different than any other aftermarket electric fans.  1640cfm for the 12" and 900 for the 10".  To put it in perspective, almost all other fans are like boss audio amps and rated at an extremely over rated peak power vs an amp that is under rated at rms power lol.

Not much else to post as I've been cutting gussets for the roof brace and stripper pole.  And I've been working on my new way of latching the door.  Been holding off because I got the idea of the product to use from John Nolte and was waiting for him to do it first, but he gave me the go ahead since he's not going to be doing it for a while.  Here's a little teaser. Anyone recognize what I've got in store? ?

Here's another teaser pic of the big project...any guesses yet?

Started assembling my cap bank, not sure I'll have time to install it during this round of work but here she is in 2/3rds of her glory (4 banks are still in my truck)

20170809_134335-2124x1195.thumb.jpg.32ac51ae020f76f374e65e7830c8d78c.jpg

I wonder how long until my OCD kicks in and I can't handle the 6 open spaces and buy 7 more banks lmao
