Karkov
I can be on the internet literally 12+ hours in a day at my home, no issues, but when I try and say go to Youtube and watch a LONG video a couple mins. in or less and I DC from the internet. I know this makes no sense but does it bottleneck somehow because of data transfer/packet loss?! It's the only thing I can figure that knocks me offline consistently. \ Other ideas otherwise?? I do not use a router ATM, just a Modem. I have something along the lines of high speed cable 25 down and 2 up or something like that. I have a new pretty nice computer that doesn't give me any issues. Not sure what the problem is. I have never heard of something triggering your internet to disconnect........ 2007 Chevy Tahoe (SOLD) 12 ~ FI Audio X series 10" w/BP option 2 ~ DC Audio 5.0K @0.67 3 ~ DC Audio 5.0K @1.0 2 ~ PPI 3 way sets (not installed yet) 1 ~ RF T400-4, 1 ~ RF T600-2, 1 ~ RF T600-4 4 ~ CT Sounds 5.25" Strato comps (rear fill only) 1 ~ XS Power D4800 1 ~ XS Power D3400 8 ~ XS Power XP3000 160 stock alt, Mechman 370 Elite, 185 DC Power 320+ Sq. Skullz
If you can afford to switch your service to commercial, they cannot throttle your connection, but it will cost twice as much. hifonix
Who is your ISP? Do you have a cap per month? Once you run the test it will have a link for public to see your results, link that so we can see your line stats. Any storms or abnormal weather going on when you get disconnected? What modem do you have? Is this cable or DSL? Under Construction
audiofanaticz
By any chance are you using Adblock+? I have found that with adblock+ youtube videos load, they play a few seconds and then my screen goes black for the duration of the ad then plays normally. So now I run 2 ad blocking programs, UBlock Origin, and Adblock+ Ublock gets what adblock+ doesnt and vice versa, but I have Adblock+ disabled on youtube, and Ublock removes the ads just fine for youtube videos.
